A delicious and simple sweet potato recipe perfect for Thanksgiving.

- 4 cups sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil sweet potatoes in a pot of water until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Drain and mash the sweet potatoes in a large bowl.
- Add brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt to the mashed sweet potatoes.
- Spread the mixture into a baking dish.
- Top with mini marshmallows.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until marshmallows are golden brown.
Notes
- You can substitute brown sugar with maple syrup.
- For a crunchier topping, add chopped pecans.
