- 4 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil sweet potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Drain and mash the sweet potatoes in a large bowl.
- Add brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix well.
- Spread the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Top with mini marshmallows.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until heated through and marshmallows are golden.
Notes
- You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
- Try adding chopped pecans for extra crunch.
- This dish can be prepared a day in advance and baked before serving.
