  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, sage) to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. Remove the turkey from the packaging and pat dry.
  3. Using kitchen shears, cut along both sides of the backbone to remove it.
  4. Flip the turkey over and press down on the breastbone to flatten.
  5. Rub olive oil all over the turkey.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  7. Add fresh herbs on top.
  8. Place the turkey on a baking sheet and roast for 1.5 to 2 hours.
  9. Check the internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (74°C).
