Ingredients
- Turkey – 1 whole (12-14 pounds)
- Collard greens – 2 pounds
- Macaroni and cheese – 1 large baking dish
- Sweet potatoes – 4 medium
- Cornbread – 1 batch
- Gravy – 2 cups
- Cranberry sauce – 1 can
- Pecan pie – 1 pie
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F.
- Prepare the turkey by seasoning it and placing it in a roasting pan.
- Roast the turkey for about 3-4 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- While the turkey cooks, prepare the collard greens by boiling them until tender.
- Cook the macaroni and cheese according to your recipe.
- Bake sweet potatoes in the oven for about 45 minutes.
- Make cornbread according to your recipe.
- Prepare the gravy from the turkey drippings.
- Serve cranberry sauce on the side.
- Finish the meal with pecan pie for dessert.

- Let the turkey rest for 30 minutes before carving.
- You can substitute greens with kale if preferred.
