Snowball cookies are soft, buttery cookies rolled in powdered sugar.

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Additional powdered sugar for rolling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream the butter and powdered sugar together in a bowl.
- Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
- Stir in the flour, salt, and chopped walnuts until combined.
- Form dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
- Let cool slightly, then roll in powdered sugar.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Can substitute walnuts with pecans.
- For a variation, add chocolate chips.
