Tender shredded beef sandwiches made in a slow cooker.


Ingredients

  • 3 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 sandwich rolls
  • Optional: sliced cheese, pickles

Instructions

  1. Place the beef roast in the slow cooker.
  2. Add sliced onion and minced garlic on top.
  3. Pour beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the meat.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is tender.
  6. Remove the beef and shred it with two forks.
  7. Return the shredded beef to the slow cooker and mix with juices.
  8. Serve on sandwich rolls with optional toppings.
