- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5 minutes per side.
- Remove chicken and set aside.
- Add onions to the skillet and sauté until soft.
- Add garlic and thyme, cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in chicken broth and stir to combine.
- Return chicken to the skillet and cover.
- Simmer for 15 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
