Ingredients

- 1 pound sausage
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 4 cups bread cubes
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté onion and celery in the same skillet until soft.
- In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, sausage, sautéed vegetables, chicken broth, and seasonings.
- Mix thoroughly and transfer to a baking dish.
- Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown.

- You can add nuts or dried fruit for extra flavor.
