Ingredients

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  3. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. In another bowl, combine flour and salt.
  6. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with buttermilk.
  7. Stir in vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
  8. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.
  9. Drizzle half of the salted caramel sauce over the batter.
  10. Pour the remaining batter on top and repeat with the caramel.
  11. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  12. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack.
  13. Drizzle with remaining salted caramel sauce before serving.
