- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup salted caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a bundt pan.
- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In another bowl, combine flour and salt.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with buttermilk.
- Stir in vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.
- Drizzle half of the salted caramel sauce over the batter.
- Pour the remaining batter on top and repeat with the caramel.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack.
- Drizzle with remaining salted caramel sauce before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Can be served warm or at room temperature.
- Pairs well with vanilla ice cream.
