Description
Ritz cracker toffee is a sweet and salty treat made with buttery toffee and crunchy crackers.

- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 package Ritz crackers (about 30 crackers)
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange the Ritz crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring until combined.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and let it boil for 3 minutes without stirring.
- Pour the toffee mixture over the crackers, spreading it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes until bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Let sit for a few minutes to melt.
- Spread the melted chocolate evenly and sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired.
- Let cool completely before breaking into pieces.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Use different types of chocolate for varied flavors.
- Feel free to add sea salt on top for extra flavor.
