  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Arrange the Ritz crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  4. In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring until combined.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil and let it boil for 3 minutes without stirring.
  6. Pour the toffee mixture over the crackers, spreading it evenly.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes until bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Let sit for a few minutes to melt.
  9. Spread the melted chocolate evenly and sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired.
  10. Let cool completely before breaking into pieces.
