A deliciously simple dessert that combines the crunch of Ritz crackers with a rich salted caramel flavor.

- 2 cups Ritz crackers, crushed
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup salted caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix crushed Ritz crackers and melted butter.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In another bowl, beat heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
- Add half of the caramel sauce and mix well.
- Spread half of the cream mixture over the crust.
- Repeat layers with the remaining crust and cream mixture.
- Drizzle the top with remaining caramel sauce.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use homemade salted caramel sauce.
- Garnish with extra nuts or chocolate shavings if desired.
- This cake can be made a day in advance for better flavor.
