Description

A deliciously simple dessert that combines the crunch of Ritz crackers with a rich salted caramel flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups Ritz crackers, crushed
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix crushed Ritz crackers and melted butter.
  2. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Add half of the caramel sauce and mix well.
  7. Spread half of the cream mixture over the crust.
  8. Repeat layers with the remaining crust and cream mixture.
  9. Drizzle the top with remaining caramel sauce.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use homemade salted caramel sauce.
  • Garnish with extra nuts or chocolate shavings if desired.
  • This cake can be made a day in advance for better flavor.
