Ingredients

- 2 cups pumpkin puree
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sugar, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, then mix until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven.
- Reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 35-40 minutes.
- Cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve with whipped cream.
- Can be made a day ahead.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
