Ingredients

- 4 cups of cubed bread
- 2 cups of pumpkin puree
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 3/4 cup of sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix pumpkin puree, milk, heavy cream, sugar, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Add the cubed bread and stir until well combined.
- Fold in the chopped pecans.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until set and golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with whipped cream.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days.
- This recipe can be doubled for larger gatherings.
