- 1 Turkey (12-14 lbs)
- 1 cup Butter
- 2 cups Chicken Broth
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 2 Carrots, chopped
- 2 Celery Stalks, chopped
- 4 cups Bread Cubes
- 1 teaspoon Sage
- 1 teaspoon Thyme
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F.
- Prepare the turkey by removing giblets and patting dry.
- Rub the turkey with butter and season with salt and pepper.
- In a pan, sauté onion, carrots, and celery until soft.
- Mix sautéed vegetables with bread cubes, broth, sage, and thyme.
- Stuff the turkey with the bread mixture.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
- Roast for about 3 hours, basting occasionally.
- Remove foil for the last hour to brown the skin.
- Check for doneness with a meat thermometer.
- Let the turkey rest before carving.

- Use fresh herbs for better flavor.
- Brine the turkey overnight for moisture.
- Adjust seasonings to taste.
