- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced onion and green pepper, sauté until soft.
- Add sliced beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
- Slice the French bread in half lengthwise.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly on the bread.
- Top with shredded provolone cheese.
- Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
