Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 3/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, butter, brown sugar, and salt until crumbly.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking pan.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes.
  5. In another bowl, combine pecans, corn syrup, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  6. Pour the pecan mixture over the baked crust.
  7. Bake for an additional 25-30 minutes or until set.
  8. Let cool before cutting into bars.
