Easy and quick fudge recipe from Paula Deen.


Ingredients

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips.
  2. Stir continuously until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  4. If using, fold in chopped nuts.
  5. Pour mixture into a greased 8×8 inch pan.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 5 hours until firm.
  7. Cut into squares and serve.
