Ingredients
- Ground beef – 1 lb
- Rye bread – 4 slices
- Swiss cheese – 4 slices
- Onion – 1, sliced
- Butter – 2 tbsp
- Secret sauce – 1/2 cup
Instructions
- Cook the sliced onion in a skillet until caramelized.
- Form the ground beef into two patties and season.
- Cook the patties in the skillet until desired doneness.
- Spread secret sauce on one side of each slice of rye bread.
- Assemble the sandwich with patties, Swiss cheese, and caramelized onions between the bread.
- Butter the outside of the sandwich and grill until golden brown.
