Ingredients

- 400g pasta
- 500g ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 800g canned tomatoes
- 200g mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 100g parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté onion and garlic until soft.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in canned tomatoes, salt, pepper, and oregano. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Combine cooked pasta with meat sauce.
- Transfer to a baking dish and layer with mozzarella and parmesan.
- Bake for 25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
- Can be made ahead and reheated.
- Customize with your favorite vegetables.
