Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Mix cornstarch and flour in a bowl.
  2. Dip chicken pieces in eggs, then coat with cornstarch mixture.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and fry chicken until golden brown.
  4. In another pan, combine orange juice, soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Cook until thickened.
  5. Add fried chicken to the sauce and toss to coat.
  6. Garnish with green onions before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
  • Serve with steamed rice for a complete meal.
