- 4 cod fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season the cod fillets with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add cod fillets and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove cod from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Stir in lemon juice and parsley.
- Pour the sauce over the cod before serving.
