Description

A delicious overnight cinnamon apple baked French toast casserole perfect for breakfast.


Ingredients

  • 6 slices of bread
  • 2 apples, diced
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Grease a baking dish.
  2. Cut bread into cubes and place in the dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix apples with cinnamon and sugar.
  4. Spread apple mixture over the bread.
  5. In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, and melted butter.
  6. Pour egg mixture over the bread and apples.
  7. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  9. Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
