- 1 egg yolk

- 1 cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup corn syrup
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, butter, and sugar until crumbly.
- Add egg yolk and cold water; mix until dough forms.
- Roll out the dough and fit it into a tart pan.
- Bake for 15 minutes until lightly golden.
- In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, and cream; heat until smooth.
- Stir in butter, then remove from heat.
- Whisk eggs and vanilla into the mixture.
- Pour filling into the baked tart shell.
- Bake for an additional 25 minutes until set.
- Let cool before serving.
