Description
A classic recipe for old fashioned salmon patties that are easy to make and delicious.
Ingredients

- 1 can of salmon (14.75 oz)
- 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup of onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup of bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Drain the salmon and remove any bones.
- In a bowl, mix the salmon, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, egg, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
Notes
- Serve with tartar sauce or lemon wedges.
- You can add herbs like dill for extra flavor.
- These patties can be frozen before cooking.
