Ingredients

- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, eggs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
- Spread a little ketchup on top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Serve with mashed potatoes and green beans.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
- This recipe can be doubled for larger gatherings.
