Ingredients

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. Soak the onion slices in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Dredge the soaked onions in flour and fry until golden brown.
