Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef or lamb
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1 cup peas
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground meat over medium heat.
- Add onions and garlic; cook until softened.
- Stir in carrots and peas; cook for a few minutes.
- Add broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper; simmer for 10 minutes.
- Transfer the meat mixture to a baking dish.
- Spread the mashed potatoes on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden.
Notes
- You can use leftover mashed potatoes for this recipe.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like corn or green beans.
