Ingredients

  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground meat over medium heat.
  3. Add onions and garlic; cook until softened.
  4. Stir in carrots and peas; cook for a few minutes.
  5. Add broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper; simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Transfer the meat mixture to a baking dish.
  7. Spread the mashed potatoes on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden.
