Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add onion, carrots, and garlic; cook until softened.
  4. Add ground lamb; cook until browned.
  5. Stir in tomato paste, beef broth, and peas; season with salt and pepper.
  6. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Spread the lamb mixture in a baking dish.
  8. Top with mashed potatoes; smooth the surface.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
