Description

Mushroom, shallot, and herbed goat cheese tarts are a savory pastry filled with a rich mixture of mushrooms, shallots, and creamy goat cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 200g mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 shallots, finely chopped
  • 100g goat cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into squares.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté shallots until soft.
  4. Add mushrooms, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook until mushrooms are tender.
  5. Place the mushroom mixture on the pastry squares.
  6. Top each tart with crumbled goat cheese.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
