Description
A delicious mounds poke cake inspired by the classic candy bar.
Ingredients

- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
- 1 cup chocolate syrup
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds
Instructions
- Prepare chocolate cake mix according to package instructions.
- Bake the cake in a 9×13 inch pan.
- While the cake is baking, mix coconut milk and chocolate syrup in a bowl.
- Once the cake is done, poke holes in it using a fork.
- Pour the coconut milk mixture over the cake.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- Spread whipped topping evenly over the cake.
- Sprinkle shredded coconut and chopped almonds on top.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Can substitute almond for walnuts if preferred.
- For extra flavor, add a layer of chocolate ganache.
