Description
Mississippi pot roast cooked in a crockpot for tender, flavorful meat.
Ingredients

- 3–4 pounds chuck roast
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 5–6 pepperoncini peppers
- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Place the chuck roast in the crockpot.
- Sprinkle ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix over the roast.
- Place the butter on top of the roast.
- Add pepperoncini peppers around the roast.
- Pour beef broth into the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.
- Shred the meat with two forks and serve.
Notes
- For extra flavor, sear the roast before placing it in the crockpot.
- Adjust the amount of pepperoncini for desired spice level.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or over rice.
