- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup butter
Instructions
- Marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Coat each chicken breast in the flour mixture.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Sear each chicken breast for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer chicken to a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Check for doneness and serve hot.
Notes
- You can use chicken thighs instead of breasts.
- For extra flavor, add herbs to the flour mixture.
