  • 2 cups chicken broth

  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • Fresh herbs (thyme, rosemary, sage)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Remove the turkey giblets and pat the turkey dry.
  3. Rub the turkey with butter, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Stuff the turkey cavity with fresh herbs.
  5. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and pour chicken broth around it.
  6. Cover with foil and roast for 2.5 to 3 hours.
  7. Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes to brown the skin.
  8. Check the internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (74°C).
  9. Let the turkey rest for 20-30 minutes before carving.
