Ingredients

- 5 pounds of potatoes
- 1 cup of milk
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1 cup of sour cream
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Peel and cut the potatoes into chunks.
- Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender.
- Drain and return potatoes to the pot.
- Add butter, milk, and sour cream.
- Mash until smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer to a baking dish and cover.
- Refrigerate until ready to heat.
Notes
- Can be made up to two days in advance.
- Reheat in the oven at 350°F for about 30 minutes.
- Add extra milk if needed when reheating.
