Description

Delicious and crispy parmesan crusted chicken inspired by Longhorn Steakhouse.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for a mixture of parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in the egg, and finally coat with the parmesan mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Fry the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy.
