Description
Delicious lemon cream cheese bars with a buttery crust.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, butter, and granulated sugar until crumbly.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×9 inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla. Mix until combined.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until set.
- Let cool, then refrigerate for 2 hours before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Serve chilled for best flavor.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
