Description

Delicious lemon cream cheese bars with a buttery crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, butter, and granulated sugar until crumbly.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×9 inch baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  5. Add eggs, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla. Mix until combined.
  6. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until set.
  8. Let cool, then refrigerate for 2 hours before cutting into bars.
