Description
A delicious lemon cheesecake French toast casserole that combines the flavors of lemon and cheesecake in a baked dish.

- 1 loaf of brioche bread, cubed
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, ricotta, sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, vanilla, and salt. Mix until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
- In a large baking dish, layer half of the bread cubes.
- Spread half of the cheese mixture over the bread.
- Top with remaining bread cubes and cheese mixture.
- Pour egg and milk mixture over the top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until golden.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Let it sit for at least 10 minutes before serving.
- Best served warm.
- You can refrigerate leftovers for up to 3 days.
