Description

A hearty lasagna casserole packed with layers of pasta, meat, cheese, and marinara sauce.


Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 24 ounces marinara sauce
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with onions and garlic.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a baking dish, layer noodles, ricotta cheese, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese.
  6. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  9. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
