Description

Korean-style country ribs marinated in a flavorful sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds country-style pork ribs
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, gochujang, and black pepper.
  2. Place the ribs in a large zip-top bag and pour the marinade over the ribs.
  3. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Remove the ribs from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  6. Grill the ribs for 6-8 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add more gochujang.
  • Serve with rice or kimchi.
