- 1 package wonton wrappers
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup jalapenos, diced
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapenos, and green onions.
- Place a spoonful of the mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Brush the edges of the wonton with beaten egg.
- Fold the wrapper over the filling to form a triangle and seal tightly.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry the wontons until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust jalapeno quantity for desired spice level.
- Can be baked at 375°F for 15-20 minutes for a healthier option.
