Description

Delicious homemade cake pops inspired by Starbucks.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box of cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 cup of frosting
  • 1 bag of chocolate candy melts
  • lollipop sticks
  • sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions.
  2. Bake in a 9×13 inch pan and let cool completely.
  3. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl.
  4. Add the frosting and mix until combined.
  5. Form mixture into small balls and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Insert lollipop sticks into each ball.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Melt the chocolate candy melts according to package instructions.
  9. Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
  10. Sprinkle with optional toppings.
  11. Let the cake pops set on wax paper.
