Instructions

- In a baking dish, combine blackberries and 1/2 cup of sugar.
- Melt the butter and pour it over the blackberries.
- In a bowl, mix flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk until smooth.
- Pour the batter over the blackberries and butter.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
