- 2 cups almond flour
- 1 cup coconut sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine coconut sugar, applesauce, melted coconut oil, eggs, and vanilla.
- Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.
- Fold in dark chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Can be served with fresh fruit or whipped coconut cream.
