Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp flour

Instructions

  1. Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Form the mixture into patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
  5. Remove patties and set aside.
  6. Add sliced onion to the skillet and sauté until soft.
  7. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  8. Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring until thickened.
  9. Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream.
  10. Return patties to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes.
