Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp flour
Instructions
- Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
- Remove patties and set aside.
- Add sliced onion to the skillet and sauté until soft.
- Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring until thickened.
- Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream.
- Return patties to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes.
Notes
- Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
- Can substitute ground turkey for a lighter option.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
