Ingredients

  • 1 head of lettuce (such as iceberg or romaine)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic; sauté until soft.
  3. Add ground beef; cook until browned.
  4. Stir in soy sauce and grated carrot; cook for 2 more minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  6. Separate lettuce leaves; spoon beef mixture into each leaf.
  7. Garnish with green onions and serve.
