Description
Healthy and low-carb ground beef lettuce wraps.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 head of lettuce (such as iceberg or romaine)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 carrot, grated
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic; sauté until soft.
- Add ground beef; cook until browned.
- Stir in soy sauce and grated carrot; cook for 2 more minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Separate lettuce leaves; spoon beef mixture into each leaf.
- Garnish with green onions and serve.
Notes
- Use any lettuce that holds up well.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Can add other vegetables if desired.
