- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, almond flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the butter and eggs until smooth.
- Add the milk and lavender to the wet mixture.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool before glazing.
- For the glaze, mix honey and lemon juice until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake before serving.
