- 1 pound fresh green beans
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Wash and trim the green beans.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add green beans, salt, and pepper.
- Sauté for 5-7 minutes until tender.
- Add sliced almonds and lemon juice, mix well.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Can substitute almonds with walnuts.
- Best served fresh.
