- 4 medium potatoes, peeled
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Grate the potatoes into a bowl.
- Add the chopped onion, egg, flour, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the hot oil.
- Fry until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.

- Serve with applesauce or sour cream.
- For a crispier texture, squeeze out excess moisture from the potatoes.
