Instructions
- Grate the potatoes and onion.
- In a bowl, combine grated potatoes, onion, flour, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the pan.
- Flatten the pancakes slightly with a spatula.
- Fry until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Drain on paper towels before serving.
Notes
- Serve with applesauce or sour cream.
- Make sure to squeeze out excess moisture from the potatoes.
