Description

A delicious German chocolate poke cake that is moist and rich with chocolate flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tub whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the cake mix, water, oil, and eggs in a bowl.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
  6. Poke holes in the cake using a fork.
  7. Pour sweetened condensed milk and chocolate syrup over the cake.
  8. Sprinkle coconut and pecans on top.
  9. Spread whipped topping over the cake.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
